AC/Split cleaning

Without regular cleaning of your Air conditioning system contamination builds up resulting in congested air flow and system inefficiency. This increases the costs to you through higher energy bills, more frequent repairs or the replacement of parts. In addition, contaminants that breed  in your air conditioning system are released into the air through its normal operation  spreading illness to all occupants of the household.

Air Systems Duct Cleaning uses AerisGuard Bioactive Treatment System products  www.healthyair.com.au  and a  natural LemonGrass Melaluka based product to clean the air systems of all its clients.  Treatment  with AerisGuard Bioactive treatment is completely non-corrosive and will immediately restore efficiency and extend the life of your unit. The AerisGuard Bioactive Treatment System was origninally develped to clean and decontaminate the air conditioning units servicing multi-storey office buildings, hospitals, indoor shopping malls and airports. This Australian invention is now being applied to ducted and reverse cycle air conditioners in over 20 countries around the world.

An air conditioner contaminated with unacceptable levels of mould and bacteria can suppress your immune system causing cold and flu-like symptoms, skin irritations, hay fever, or even triggering asthma attacks. To ensure adequate protection for your family against these contaminates; appropriate removal of mould, fungus and bacteria is required.

Prof. Kerryn Phelps supports the need for healthy air conditioning.

Prof. Kerryn Phelps is concerned about the effects of contaminated air conditioners. She says “By simply ensuring that your air delivery system

remains free of contamination, you can go a long way to improving the health of you and your family.”

The moist environment inside your air conditioner is the ideal environment for mould and bacteria to grow and flourish in as little as 3 months. The real problem lay in areas you can't reach such as the indoor coil, fan and drain pans.

THE AERISGUARD 9 STEP TREATMENT SYSTEM prevents recontamination resulting in long term protection of the health of your family.

Step 1

System Assessment

Is the work that is needed to return the unit to its original operational condition.

Checks are conducted on the

  • coil,
  • fan,
  • fan chamber,
  • casing and directional louvres

Step 2

System Access Preparation

The systems access will be determined by checking safety equipment,  accessing the filters, coils & drain pan by removing appropriate panels or ductwork.

Step 3

Pre-Cleaning by vacuuming coils, casing and fan.

Step 4

Clean Indoor Coil with AerisGuard Coil Cleaner

Apply AerisGuard to coils,

Step 5

Coil Rinsing

Coils are totally flushed using specific techniques to ensure contaminants are removed from deep inside the coil.

Step 6

AerisGuard Coil Treatment

Protects the indoor coils against re-colonisation for up to 12 months.

Step 7

Filter Cleaning and treatment

Removes visible dust, mould & bacteria from filters.

Step 8

AerisGuard Filter Treatment

Provides protection against re-colonisation of mould and bacteria on filters.

AerisGuard must be applied to any air conditioning unit, ducted or high-wall split, by an accredited AerisGuard technician. The process takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours per unit to complete. T

Step 9

System Restoration

Includes re-assembly of the unit & confirmation of operational performance.

The residual action of AerisGuard treatment products means that the active ingredients are released over a period of 12 months. This will ensure the long-term health of the air from your air conditioner.

So ask your air conditioning technician to not only clean it, but to AerisGuard it. To organise for your accredited AerisGuard applicator to clean your system call:
